Sweet Urad dal Vada / Ulunthu Vada / Inuppu Vada Recipe


 Sweet Urad dal Vada / Ulunthu Vada Recipe

Ingredients :        
                                  
  1.   Urad dal -1 cup
  2.   Sugar - 1/4 cup
  3.   Water 
  4.   Oil for deep fry

To Grind

  1.   Urad dal -1 cup
  2.   Sugar - 1/4 cup

 Steps :                                                          

  1. Soak the Urad dal for 1 hour.
  2. Strain the water and transfer the dal to a mixer jar and add little sugar at a time and grind it to a smooth and thick batter.
  3. Heat the oil in a frying pan in medium flame. wet your palms and take a lemon size batter, press it  gently and make thick round shape vada.
  4. Then slowly slide vada in it. 
  5. Flip and deep fry both the sides until they turn light golden brown.
  6. Now sweet vada is ready to serve.
